From an early age, his keen sensitivity guided him toward a profound appreciation of beauty and an innate desire for artistic expression. His family played a pivotal role in nurturing his interests, encouraging him to visit churches, basilicas, museums, and art galleries during his childhood.
At the age of fourteen, after moving to Marina di Pietrasanta, Panichi began attending the Istituto d'Arte Stagio Stagi, where he further developed his artistic inclinations. In 2019, he opened his atelier in Marina di Pietrasanta, collaborating with various artists. Since 2022, he has been pursuing painting courses at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Carrara, a journey that led him to co-found Ad Astra Arte, a space dedicated to promoting art and culture in Carrara.
Panichi describes painting as a way to feel "exact," emphasizing how art allows him to express emotions and thoughts authentically. His works, created using watercolors, acrylics, and mixed techniques, are characterized by abstract marks and vibrant colors that reflect real-life events, translated into a visually powerful and emotionally impactful language. The often-ironic titles of his pieces provide additional layers of meaning, showcasing his deep connection to Versilia and his personal interests, such as his passion for crime dramas.
Born in 1997, Tommaso Panichi continues to explore and expand his artistic horizons, offering viewers an authentic and spontaneous visual language that resonates deeply.
