Philippe Delenseigne

Philippe Delenseigne, born in Calais in 1971, his work spans painting, sculpture, and video art, reflecting his eclectic and experimental nature. Living and working in Pietrasanta, he draws inspiration from his extensive travels between France, Italy, and Germany, embracing the cultural richness of cities like Paris, Pietrasanta, and Berlin.

Delenseigne's art is characterized by its conceptual depth and innovative use of materials, from unconventional resins and vinyl adhesives to traditional marble and bronze. His creations, often blending elements of sculpture and painting, explore themes of material and spiritual existence. By manipulating light and shadow, his works reveal hidden narratives, challenging the viewer's perception and inviting introspection.

With an international presence, Delenseigne has exhibited in cities such as Tokyo, Prague, Vienna, Barcelona, Oslo, and Milan. His works are housed in both public and private collections, including those in France, Italy, and beyond. A frequent exhibitor in Pietrasanta, he continues to contribute significantly to the contemporary art
scene.
